We are currently in a sermon series based on the
Book of Revelation.
March 21st sermon: Curses, Foiled Again!
One of the symptoms of sin sickness is a man’s persistence at self-destructive behavior in the delusion that “this time things will turn out differently.” Satan has the same bug, and it boggles the mind that one of the smartest of created beings could be so committed to a losing battle. Alas, an enemy is not defeated until he knows he is defeated, and this knowledge will escape him even after considerable instruction. Rev. 12:1-6 is an account of two key lessons. If Satan won’t learn from them, perhaps we can.
When people describe a church, they often think of a specific time and place (Sunday morning at a building with a big meeting room). We say take away the building and our "big event" on Sunday mornings and see what's left! If you see people who are being changed, people whose relationship with Jesus is turning them into something new and good, then you're looking at the church.
Transformed lives serving others in Jesus' name - that's what we want you to envision when you think about Collierville Bible Church.
