First Thing Adult Sunday School
It isn't easy to keep first things first! Wouldn't life be simple if we only had one thing to do? We dare to believe it can be! Here at CBC we have one purpose - to live for Jesus' pleasure. Listen to how Jesus explained it: "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matt. 6:33). When we keep our focus in the right place, the other stuff will fall into its proper place.
Our challenge is that life can be complicated. Sometimes it's not always easy to see HOW to do that one thing. That's why we start off our times together on Sunday mornings with First Thing. It's a class for adults, but more than that. It's a place where we gather in table groups and discuss how to keep first things first. We learn what the Bible says to shed some light on the subject. We pray for each other and support each other in the fight to keep life from getting complicated. First Thing is about keeping it simple, together.
