March 14th sermon: The Last Straw

 

Is God worked up about “global warming?” Is He disappointed with mankind for its wanton production of greenhouse gasses? Or is this issue like so many others, a cause for men to get worked up over that is a distraction from what really matters. The last straw is not what you think! (Rev. 11:14-12:6)

When people describe a church, they often think of a specific time and place (Sunday morning at a building with a big meeting room).  We say take away the building and our "big event" on Sunday mornings and see what's left!  If you see people who are being changed, people whose relationship with Jesus is turning them into something new and good, then you're looking at the church.
